Billy Wayne Williams, 41, of Liberty, formerly of Richmond, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2008, in Hannibal.
Billy was born Sept. 8, 1966, in Richmond, the son of James Ray and Janet Kay (Clemens) Williams. He married Kimberly Jean Huges of Excelsior Springs, Aug. 4, 2007; she survives of the home.
Billy was a supervisor for the Northland Sonic Group for the past six years. He had lived in Liberty for the past three years. Billy was of the Christian faith. He was a 1984 graduate of Richmond High School. Billy was the past president of the Grand Island, Neb. Jaycees.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: his father and step-mother, James and Barbara Williams of Independence; his mother and step-father, Janet and Gary Padgett of Gardner, Kan.; one daughter, Ashley Renee Williams of Liberty; two step-sons, Dwayne Joyce of Lexington, and Justin Ray Wirsig of Camden; one step-daughter, Ashley Dawn Wirsig; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Tammy Williams of Orrick, and Shelly Martin and her husband, Mike, of DeSoto, Kan.; two step-brothers, Terry Padgett and his wife, Nannette, of Richmond, and Charles Hill of Richmond; and five step-sisters, Kimberly McPherson and her husband, Bill, of Smithville, Mindy Padgett of Lawson, Rhonda Jefferson and her husband, David, of Richmond, Laura Fales of Wheatland, and Gladys Stafford of Richmond.
One nephew, Michael Samuel Martin, preceded him in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ashley Renee Williams College Fund.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 4, at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 5, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cravens Cemetery in Camden.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
