Juanita Anita (Voehl) Nickell, 81, of Richmond, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 2, 2008, at her home in Richmond.
Juanita was born Sept. 19, 1926, in Paris, Mo., the daughter of parents Adolph “Gus” and Myrtle (Luntsford) Voehl. She married Otho Nickell Aug. 31, 1952, in Paris, Mo., beginning her life as a loving homemaker. Juanita was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include: three daughters and one son-in-law, Pamela Walker and her husband, Ronnie, of Richmond, Connie Nickell of Rayville, and Mary Ann Reynolds of Richmond; one son, William Lee Nickell of Richmond; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her parents, sisters, Mary Simpson, Dorothy Hill, Norma McElwrath and Annabelle Voehl, and grandson Mick Bodine, preceded Juanita in death.
Cremation. A memorial service for Juanita will be held at 7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 4, at Polley Funeral Home in Richmond.
