Mildred Iolene (Hunt) Johnson, 66, of Richmond, passed away, Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, at her home.
Mildred was born June 18, 1942, in Parkville, the daughter of Clarence and Hazel (Randall) Hunt. She married Donald Johnson in Gashland, March 26, 1960; he preceded her in death Jan. 23, 1980.
Survivors include: one son, Ray Johnson, of Hamilton; four daughters, Kimberly Gardner and Kellie Pullium, both of Hamilton, Carol Leimkuhler of Avondale, and Missy Jones of Richmond; 11 grandchildren, Jason Johnson, Shelley Johnson, Karen Johnson, Alisha Gardner, Katie Leimkuhler, Kyle, Jordan, and Dylan Jones, Cheyenne and Shelby Johnson, and Lacey Handley; and seven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, her sister, Thelma Frances Springs, one niece, Debbie Hunt, granddaughter, Erin Johnson, and great grandchild, Timothy Johnson, preceded her in death.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Mildred Johnson Memorial Fund, c/o Bailey and Cox Family Funeral Service in Polo.
The family received friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Monday, Sept. 1, at Bailey and Cox Family Funeral Service in Polo. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 2, at the funeral chapel. Interment was in Cowgill Cemetery in Cowgill.
Arrangements were under the direction of Bailey and Cox Funeral Service in Polo.
