Mildred W. Wyatt, 93, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, Aug. 21, 2008, at Lexington Care Center.
Mildred Wilhelmina Rodenberg was born May 17, 1915, in Napoleon, the daughter of August C. and Sophia Eliza Koenig Rodenberg. She married Wesley Leon Wyatt on Nov. 4, 1939; he preceded her in death on Jan. 21, 1996.
Survivors include: two brothers and sisters-in-law, Lester Rodenberg and his wife, Pauline, of Lexington, and Harold Rodenberg and his wife, Laverne, of North Kansas City, Mo.; two sisters, Lenora Glor of Independence, and Lucille Scott of Lexington; two sisters-in-law, Loretta Rodenberg of Lee’s Summit, and Esther Rodenberg of Odessa; one brother-in-law, Norman Wyatt and his wife, Ruth, Kennewick, of Washington.
In addition to her husband and her parents, two brothers, William and Orlando, a niece, Judy Hands, and a nephew, Robert Rodenberg, preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice or to Boy Scout Troop 318.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 23, at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial is in Lexington Memory Gardens.
