Cecil E. “Bud” Lamb, 79, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Thursday, July 24, 200,8 at the Excelsior Springs Medical Center.
Bud was born Dec. 10, 1928, in Excelsior Springs, the son of Cecil and Livvie (Peery) Lamb. On April 17, 1949 Bud was united in marriage to Pat (Hart); she survives of the home.
In addition to his wife, survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Lance Lamb and his wife, Patty, of Excelsior Springs, and Jim Lamb and his wife, Brenda, of Blue Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Amy Dysart and her husband, Randy, of Fenton; five grandchildren, Chaz Lamb, Amanda Dysart, David Lamb, Andrew Dysart and Jenny Bailey; and one great-granddaughter, Emma Lamb.
In addition to his parents, one sister Bea Brown, preceded him in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Barbee Memorial Presbyterian Church.
The family received friends from 10 to 11 a.m., Monday, July 28 at the Barbee Memorial Presbyterian Church in Excelsior Springs. Funeral Services were held at 11 a.m., immediately following the visitation at the church. Burial was in the Masonic Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.
Arrangements were under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
