Joseph F. Oliaro, Jr., 88, of Lexington, died July 14, 2008 in Lexington.
Joseph was born Oct. 17, 1919, in Lexington, the son of Camilla (Mussatto) and Joseph F. Oliaro, Sr.
Survivors include: his wife, Sarah (Drake), of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law, Steve Oliaro and his wife, Charlette, Jeff Oliaro and his wife, Wende; five grandchildren, Stephanie Anderson and her husband, Scott, Michelle Roach and her husband, Marlin, Joseph Oliaro, Lance Oliaro and his wife, Anne, and Leslie Oliaro; four great-grandchildren, Bailey and Rebecca Anderson, and Hailey and Jacob Roach.
In addition to his parents, his first wife, Bernice (Villers), one sister, Valia, and three brothers, Al, George, and Adam, preceded him in death.
The family requests that memorials be made to either the Charles Lyons Foundation-Scholarship Fund or Lexington Boy Scout Troop 318.
A Rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, July 17, with a visitation following until 8:30 p.m., at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lexington. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, July 18, at the church. Burial is in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lexington.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington.
