Shirley Ann (Burnett) Adams, 66, of Hamilton, passed away Monday, July 7, 2008, at the Hillcrest Manor in Hamilton.
Shirley was born March 23, 1942 in Gallatin, the daughter of Clevis James and Reve (Gastineau) Burnett. She graduated from Kidder High School and worked as a nurse’s aide at the Hillcrest Manor in Hamilton.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Alicia Prewitt and her husband, Gary, of Lawson; one son and daughter-in-law, John Adams and his wife, Terri, of Breckenridge; her siblings, Helen Hahn of Cameron, Nancy Vernoy of Oregon, Omie DeVaul of Kansas City, Mo., Judy of California, and Ray Burnett of Chillicothe; nine grandchildren, April, Casey, and Austin Prewitt of Lawson, Charles, L. John, Wesley and Trevor Adams of Breckenridge, Kayla Clariday of Lathrop, and Eric Adams of New Cambria; and one great-granddaughter, Amari Prewitt of Lawson.
In addition to her parents, two children, Melinda M. Clariday and Dennis C. Adams, and six siblings, Virginia, Francis, Alice, Norman, C.J. and Phyllis, preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, July 10, at the Polley Funeral Home in Lawson.
