Thomas “T.S.” Mason, 86, of Lexington, passed away July 5, 2008 at the home of his daughter.
Thomas was born Nov. 7, 1921 in Lexington, the son of the late Willie Mae Mason Mady and Tizzie Mason. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He had been employed at Matco’s Store and the Remington Arms Ammunition Plant.
Survivors include: his wife, Harriett Mason, of the home; three daughters, Yolanda Mason, Eunice Reid, and Aressa Walton, all of Lexington; two sons, Ladell Walton of Kansas City, Mo., and Russell Williams of Grandview; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, two brothers, three sons and one grandchild preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10 at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial with military rites will be in Lexington Memory Gardens.
