Carol Ann Nance, 65, of Lexington, died at 2:15 p.m., Saturday, June 28, 2008, at the Lexington Care Center in Lexington.
Carol was born Nov. 5, 1942, in Wellington, the daughter of Harry E. and Tracy (Pash) Mullarkey, Sr.
Carol worked as a Nurses Aid at the Lexington Care Center. She was of the Christian Faith and lived most of her adult life in Lexington area.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Charles Mullarkey and his wife, Sharon, of Bothell, Wash.; one sister, Evelyn Gardner of Paradise, Calif.; special friends, Nicole and Allen Ellison of Lexington, Amber Silvey and Cody Ellison, of the home; and Shirley Ellison of Odessa.
In addition to her parents, two brothers, Harry and James Mullarkey, and two sisters, Edith Zeller and Delores Juede, preceded her in death.
The family suggest memorial contributions be made to the Cody Ellison Scholarship Fund.
Memorial services will be held at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at the United Methodist Church in Lexington. Inurnment will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
