Evelyn Maudie Heinrich, 78, of Independence, formerly of Kansas City, Mo. and Warsaw, died at 7:15 p.m., Sunday, June 29, 2008, at Centerpoint Hospital in Independence.
Mrs. Heinrich was born April 9, 1930 in Wagner, Okla., the daughter of Ernest and Millie (Overall) Dinsmore. She married Earl Joseph Heinrich of Kansas City on Dec. 10, 1954; he preceded her in death on Nov. 22, 2006.
She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Karl J. Heinrich and his wife, Pat, of Morton, Miss., and Wayne A. Heinrich and his wife, Kathy, of Grandview; one daughter and son-in-law, Vicki Borer and her husband, Dennis, of Independence; two brothers, Chester Dinsmore and Jess Dinsmore both of Okla.; two sisters, Peggy Murray and Betty Arnold both of Okla.; and four grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, two sisters, Velda Smith and Pauline Coverdale, preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be private with inurnment at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
