Warren Rabey Logue, 80, of Lexington, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2008, at Shirkey Nursing & Rehab Center in Richmond.
Warren was born Dec. 9, 1927 in Garden City, the son of Charles M. and Stella Theresa Rabey Logue. He married Nellie Starkebaum, March 28, 1948 in Lexington; she survives of the home.
Mr. Logue was a lifelong farmer and an Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the Dover Christian Church, the Lexington V.F.W. Post 4052, and the American Legion.
In addition to his wife, Nellie, survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Marsha Corbin, and her husband, Kent, of Dover; one son and daughter-in-law, Loren Logue and his wife, Connie, of Lexington; four grandchildren, John and Neil Corbin, and Kellie and Ryan Logue; and one sister, Virginia Holman, of Olive Branch, Miss.
His parents preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to Lexington R-5 Baseball.
A visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Sunday, June 22, at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 23 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery with military graveside services by Lexington V.F.W. post 4052.
