Dustin Ray Gene Damron, 55, of Russellville, Ark., died Saturday, June 14, 2008, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Little Rock, Ark.
Dustin was born June 19, 1952, in Claremore, Okla., the son of Vernon and Betty Damron of Russellville, Ark. Dustin was a Richmond High School graduate, the owner and broker of Real Estates Associations in Russellville, Ark., a U.S. Army National Guard veteran of the Iraqi War, and was a member of the Living Church of God.
Survivors include: his parents; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Deborah Derrick and her husband, Jack, of Atkins, Ark., and MaDonna Damron of Russellville, Ark.; one brother and sister-in-law, David Damron and his wife, Debi, of Loveland, Colo.; seven nephews and nieces; and six great-nephews and nieces.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
The family will receive friends, from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday June 18, at the Shinn Funeral Home in Russellville, Ark. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, June 19, at the Shinn Chapel, officiated by Mr. Dennis Shipley. Burial with military honors will be in McFadden Cemetery in Dover, Ark.
