Harold Lee Dooley, 93, of Carrollton, died Monday, June 2, 2008, at the Carroll County Memorial Hospital in Carrollton.
Harold was born Jan. 28, 1915, in Tina, the son of Bertie Kimbrew and Jessie Mable (Craig) Dooley. He married Roberta Rose Dickinson of Carroll County on May 4, 1941; she preceded him in death.
Survivors include: two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharol McMullin and her husband, Ron, of Lexington, and Linda Nunamaker and her husband, Steve, of Carrollton; one son and daughter-in-law, Jack Dooley and his wife, Debbie, of Blue Springs; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; one brother, Ralph Dooley of Bosworth; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Grace Crispin of Merriam, Kan., and Doris Calvert and her husband, Del, of Lee’s Summit.
In addition to his parents and wife; two brothers, Hubert Dooley and Robert Dooley; one sister, Louise Sundberg; and one grandson, Keith McMullin, preceded him in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Mandeville Methodist Church or the Missouri Lions Eye Research Foundation.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 9, at the Thurman Funeral Home in Norborne. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 10, at the Mandeville Methodist Church in Mandeville. Burial will be at Smith Cemetery, near Mandeville.
