Hazel E. Bush, 86, of Lawson, passed away Monday, May 26, 2008, at Liberty Hospital.
Hazel was born Dec. 1, 1921 in Lawson, the daughter of George and Mabel (Borgmier) Teegarden. She married Robert Bush Nov. 26, 1953.
Hazel was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling and playing cards. She was a member of the Lawson Baptist Church.
Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Martin Bush and his wife, Sharon, of Lawson, Darold Bush and his wife, Kay, of Lawson, and Daniel Bush and his wife, Ann, of Richmond; one daughter and son-in-law, Eleanor Covey and her husband, Jack, of Richmond; one brother and sister-in-law, Donald Teegarden and his wife, Jean, of Pleasant Hill; 12 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, her husband Robert, one brother, Jim Teegarden, and two grandsons, Nicholas Bush and Matthew Covey, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 28, at the Polley Funeral Home in Lawson. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 29, at the Lawson Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Teegarden Cemetery near Knoxville.
