Phyllis Sinsabaugh, of Burnsville, Minn., passed away Tuesday, April 22, 2008, in Naples, Fla.
Phyllis was born June 22, 1944, in Kansas City, Mo. She graduated from Raytown High School in 1962 and attended University of Central Missouri. She married Robert Kent Sinsabaugh on April 22, 1967. They lived in Kansas City, Mo., before moving to Burnsville, Minn. in 1973.
Phyllis was a majorette and candidate for homecoming queen in high school. She modeled and appeared on calendar entitled “An American Beauty.” Phyllis retired from Northwest Airlines in 2005. She treasured her family, her life in Birnamwood and many friends.
Survivors include: her husband, Kent, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Sean Sinsabaugh and his wife, Stacy; four grandchildren, Alex, Kyle, Tyler, and Madison of Lonsdale, Minn.; one sister and brother-in-law, Pat Vandiver and her husband, Jim, of Belvidere, Ill.; two nieces, three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
Her parents, Mary and B.N. Strider, preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, May 22, at the Hardin Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
