Elizabeth Ann Bryant, 69, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Monday, May 19, 2008, at her home.
Elizabeth was born Feb. 2, 1939, in Athelston, Iowa, the daughter of Edward Howard and Vivian Hortence (Arnold) Parker. She married Jimmy A. Bryant, Jan. 12, 1957. She had worked for Lee Clothing Manufacturing in Kansas City, Mo., and Whitaker Cable in Excelsior Springs.
Survivors include: her husband Jimmy A. Bryant, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Donnie Bryant and his wife, Kathy, of Bagdad, Ky.; one daughter, Becky Snow of Excelsior Springs; two sisters, Sue Ward of Mound City, and Norma Wilson of Jonesboro, Tenn.; two brothers, Bud Parker of Holly Springs, Miss., and Danny Parker of Adrian; and four grandchildren, Chip Snow, Chelsie Snow, Andrew Bryant and Kaitlyn Bryant.
Her parents and one sister, Fern Clark, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, May 21, at Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, May 22, at the funeral home. Graveside committal services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, May 23, in Athelston, Iowa.
