Reve’ Dukes, 91, of Richmond, formerly of Craig, died Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at Shirkey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Richmond.
Mrs. Dukes was born March 3, 1917, in Fairfax, the daughter of Earl J. and Katherine Jane (Martin) Taylor. She married Harry B. Dukes of Craig, on May 7, 1939; he preceded her in death on Feb. 15, 1999.
Mrs. Dukes was a homemaker and lived in Craig before moving to Richmond in 1990. She was a member of the Craig Presbyterian Church. She was co-manager of the Craig HY-Klas Grocery Store for many years.
Survivors include: two daughters and two sons-in-law, Karla Voltmer of Richmond, and Danielle Peters and her husband, Bob, of Urich, and Bob Lauck of Richmond; two grandsons, Aaron Lauck and his wife, Natalie, and Ryan Lauck.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Craig Presbyterian Church or to the Richmond United Christian Presbyterian Church.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 16, at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Fairfax.
