Rickey Neil Williams, 39, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Monday, April 21, 2008, at his home.
Rickey was born June 24, 1968, in Milan, Mo., the son of Billie P. Williams.
Rickey lived in the Milan area for several years before moving to Orrick where he was a 1986 graduate of Orrick High School. He attended college at Maryville for a few years. Rickey was mostly known for showing dogs through the American Kennel Club. For a brief time he worked for Mortician’s Services in Kansas City before moving to Excelsior Springs.
Survivors include: his mother, Billie Bailey of Brookfield; one sister, Crystal Redden of Brookfield; one aunt and uncle, Sharon Williams and her husband, Keith, of Richmond; two nieces, one nephew and several cousins.
His grandparents, Max and Bevis Williams, preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Rickey Williams Memorial Fund c/o Polley Funeral Home.
A memorial visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday May 2, at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, with the family receiving friends at that time.
