Bobbie Randall Bears, 80, of Lawson, passed away Thursday, April 17, 2008, at the Veterans Home in Cameron.
Bobbie was born Feb. 12, 1928, in Cainsville, the son of Fred Oliver and Nelsie Mae (Parmer) Bears.
Survivors include: his wife Norma, of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Steve Randall Bears and his wife, Debra, of North Kansas City, Mo.; three daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Marie Phillips and her husband, Steve, of Rayville, Jennifer E. “Ginger” Gettman and her husband, Randy, of O’Fallon, and Polly Ann Brewer and her husband, David, of Holt; one brother, Kenneth Bears, of Morrisville; one sister, Joanne Pratt, of Springfield; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, two brothers, Hurston and Paul Bears, and five sisters, Mildred Booth, Helen Austin, Elvira Thogmartin, Betty Barratt, and an infant sister Lilly, preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, April 19, at the Polley Funeral Home in Lawson. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, April 20, at the Lawson Assembly of God Church. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Holt.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Lawson.
