Rose Lee Blacketer, 75, of Connersville, Ind., passed away Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Saint Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Ind.
Rose Lee was born Jan. 9, 1933, in Terre Haute, Ind., the daughter of Floyd and Neva A. Counterman Brown. She married Lyle Glenn Wirth of Bloomingdale, Ind., in 1952; he preceded her in death in 1987. On Jan. 25, 1961, she married Guy Blacketer, Jr. of Ind.; he preceded her in death in 1970.
Survivors include: three sons and two daughters-in-law, Daniel Wirth and his wife, Jill, of Richmond, James C. Wirth of Noblesville, Ind., and Guy Blacketer III and his wife, Sharon, of Independence; one daughter, Lori A. Bergman and her husband, Kurt, of Connersville, Ind.; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Betty Winters of Clinton, Ind.; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Godden and his wife, Helen, of Clinton, Ind.; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her two husbands, two grandchildren, two brothers, one sister, her parents and step-father, preceded her in death.
Visitation was held from 4 to 8 p.m., Friday, April 4, at Miller, Moster, Robbins Funeral Home in Connersville, Ind. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Saturday, April 5, at the Living Waters Assembly of God Church in Connersville, Ind. Burial was in Lick Creek Cemetery in Connersville, Ind.
