Clinton Dewayne O’Dell, 49, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2008, at Truman Hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
Clinton Dewayne O’Dell was born March 31, 1959, in Richmond, the son of Raymond G. and Ida Jean (Barker) O’Dell.
Survivors include: his wife, Melissa, of the home; three sons, Steven O’Dell, Kellon O’Dell and Ryan O’Dell; and three daughters, Crissy Richardson and Morgan O’Dell, of the home, and Olivia O’Dell of Lexington; his mother, Ida Jean O’Dell of Richmond; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Jerry O’Dell of Hardin, Rex O’Dell of Richmond, and Johnnie O’Dell and his wife, Theresa, of Buckner; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Karry Fields and her husband, Matt, and Kimberly Mace and her husband, Bobby, of Richmond; one aunt; one uncle; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
His first wife, Diana (Wilson) O’Dell, one son, Travis O’Dell, two daughters, Cherrie O’Dell and Chana O’Dell, his father, Raymond G. O’Dell, and his grandparents, preceded him in death.
Memorials are suggested for the American Diabetes Association.
Visitation will be Sunday evening, April 6, at the Polley Funeral Home in Richmond, with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday April 7, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Richmond.
