Kaye Ahart, 67, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008, at the Valley Manor and Rehabilitation Center in Excelsior Springs.
Kaye was born May 30, 1940, in Rayville, the daughter of Walter and Theta (Hartman) Zirjacks. Kaye married Bill Ahart who preceded her in death on March 9, 1996. She worked as a hairdresser and was partners in the Supreme Beauty Salon in Excelsior Springs. She was a member of the Salem Christian Union Church in Excelsior Springs.
Survivors include: two sons, Jackie Smith of Excelsior Springs, and Russell Millsap of Ark.; one sister, Fern Arbuckle of Excelsior Springs; one brother, Ival Zirjacks of Liberty; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Cremation. Memorial visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, April 7, at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Graveside committal services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 8, at Crown Hill Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
