Roberta May Thompson, 79, of Lexington, passed away at her home March 31, 2008.
Roberta was born June 16, 1928 in Detroit, Mich., the daughter of Kurt and Iva Herring Matschulat. She married Floyd Harrison Thompson Jan. 1, 1946 in Brookfield.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Don A. Thompson and his wife, Cheryl, of Woodbury, Minn.; four grandchildren: Jennifer Janes, and her husband, Joe, of Lexington, Nicole Ellison and her husband, Alan, of Lexington, Matthew Thompson and his wife, Jill, of Woodbury, Minn., and Kory Severson and her husband, Mitch, of Sussex, Wis.; four sisters, Lois Ams of Tulsa, Okla., Meta Hume of Kokomo, Ind., Naomi Moody of Chariton, Iowa, and Esther Daht of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Her husband, Floyd, on Dec. 23, 1999, and one son, Floyd E. (Guy) Thompson, preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church in Odessa.
Visitation will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, at the First Assembly of God Church in Odessa. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 2 p.m., at the church. Burial will be in Machpelah Cemetery in Lexington.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington.
