Martin Donald “Donnie” Nolker, 81, of Rayville, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2008, at his home.
Mr. Nolker was born July 7, 1926, in Ray County, the son of Gus and Mae (Daniels) Nolker.
Survivors include: four daughters and sons-in-law, Marjorie Baker and her husband, John, of Lawson; Winnie Briant and her husband, David, of Lawson, Nancy Gamel and her husband, Ron, of Festus, and Marta Sizemore and her husband, Barry, of Festus; two sisters, Bonnie Cates of Vibbard, and Nora Hutcheson of Rayville; two brothers, Frank Nolker of Pittsburgh, and Gene Nolker of Vibbard; one sister-in-law, Anabelle Nolker of Richmond; seven grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and his beloved pets, his cat Tom and dog Ringo.
His parents and two brothers, Melvin Nolker and John Nolker, preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Crossroads Hospice.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, April 2, with a Masonic lodge service at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 3, at the Polley Funeral Home in Lawson. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Old Union Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Lawson.
