Beryl Windsor, 95, formerly of Ray County, died at 5:40 p.m., Monday, March 24, 2008, at the Carmel Hills Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Independence.
Mrs. Windsor was born Aug. 4, 1912, in Ray County, the daughter of Smith and Myrtle (Smithey) Mullin. She married W. Roland Windsor of Ray County on April 11, 1936; he preceded her in death on July 11, 1975.
Mrs. Windsor was a retired schoolteacher. She was a member of the Excelsior Springs Church of Christ and lived in Ray County most of her life.
Survivors include: several cousins.
In addition to her parents and husband, one sister, Leona Chaney, preceded her in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Crossroads Hospice of Kansas City, MO.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, March 27, at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Funeral services will immediately follow the visitation at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 27, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Sunny Slope Cemetery in Richmond.
