Carolyn Sue “Carol” Leslie, 55, of Richmond, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2008, at the Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park, Kan.
Carolyn was born May 3, 1952, in Excelsior Springs, the daughter of Charles Dewey and Nina Lou (Rowland) Lewis. On Sept. 24, 1999, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Lavern Leslie, who survives of the home. She was a member of New Hope Methodist Church.
Additional survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Neff and her husband, Tony, of Richmond, and Rachael Hayson; her mother, Nina Lewis of Richmond; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Michael Lewis and his wife, Pam, and Donald Lewis, all of Richmond; three grandsons, Thomas “Michael,” Colin and Kyle; one sister-in-law, Marjorie Cruzen of Concordia, Kan.; one step-son, Kevin Leslie of Richmond, and several nieces and nephews.
Her father, Charles Lewis, and one brother, Steven Lewis, preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 18, at Polley Funeral Home in Richmond. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, March 19, at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Richmond.
