Louise A. Rotello
Louise A. Rotello, 93, of Kansas City, Mo., and formerly of Ridgefield, N.J., died at 2:40 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at the Garden Valley Manor and Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Kansas City, Mo.
Mrs. Rotello was born July 6, 1914 in Jersey City, N.J., the daughter of Charles and Antoinette (Stone) Zantikas. She was first married to John Chiantera. She then married Salvatore Rotello of Ridgefield, N.J. on June 22, 1985; he survives, of the home.
Mrs. Rotello lived in New Jersey most of her life before moving to Kansas City, Mo. in 2007.
Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Dominic J. Chiantera and his wife, Bonnie, of Chapel Hill, N.C., and John Chiantera and his wife, Ann, of Minneapolis, Minn.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Craigie and her husband, Ross, of Parkville, and Andrea Distelhurst and her husband, Gene, of Bradenton, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Ridgefield (N.J.) Volunteer Ambulance Corps.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, March 19, at the St. Therese Catholic Church in Kansas City, Mo. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Fairview, N.J.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
