Millie Lou Coen, 77, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Shirkey Leisure Acres in Richmond.
Millie Lou Duncan was born Dec. 29, 1930 in Lexington, the daughter of Robert Lee and Martha Perrine Duncan. Millie married John E. Coen Oct. 17, 1947 in Lexington. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, John Steven Coen and his wife, Brenda, of Lexington; five grandchildren, Josh Coen and his wife, Christina, of Lexington, Lindsay Butler and her husband, Keith, of Bolivar, Robert Coen and Adam Coen, both of Oak Grove and Renee Horton, of Clinton; five great-grandchildren; one brother and sister-in-law, Dee Larry Duncan and his wife, Betty, of Lexington, and one sister, Mildred Barnhill, of San Obispo, Calif.
Mrs. Coen was preceded in death by her husband, on October 3, 1982, her parents, a son, Michael Lee Coen, on April 17, 1998, a brother, Robert L. Duncan, Jr. and three sisters, Norma Scharnhorst, Priscilla Vidmar, and Gladys Hine.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2008 at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home. Interment will be at a later date at Machpelah Cemetery. Memorial may be made to the Lafayette Veterans Memorial.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington.
