Leneve June Clasen, 65, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2008, at her home in Lawson.
Leneve was born Aug. 5, 1942 in Lawson, the daughter of Raymond Roger and Nancy Ruth (Rogers) Peterson.
Survivors include: her husband of 23 years, David Clasen; her mother, Nancy Ruth Peterson of Lawson; one daughter and son-in-law, Shannon Stroud and her husband, Gary, of Excelsior Springs; two sons and daughters-in-law, Pastor Kirk Baker and his wife, Kristi, of Lawson, and Brent Baker and his wife, Nannette, of Lawson; two step-daughters, Jennifer West and her husband, Jesse, of Leawood, Kan., and Julie Jackson and her husband, Gerald, of Smithville; one step-son, Gerald Clasen, of Smithville; one sister and brother-in-law, Becky Hartman and her husband, Sam, of Lawson; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her father preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to Kansas City Hospice and Learning Lighthouse Preschool of Lawson.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, March 5 at the Lawson Baptist Church in Lawson. Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 6 at the church. Burial will be in the Lawson Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home of Lawson.
