Hazel Marie Corbin, 87, of Dover, passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2008 at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Hazel was born March 28, 1920 in Cole Camp, the daughter of Louis Henry and Ella T. Kroneke Schumaker. She married Clark Conner “Bud” Corbin on Feb. 25, 1936. He preceded her in death on April 30, 1988. Mrs. Corbin had been a seamstress at Dunhill Shirt Company in Lexington.
Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Lasoski and her husband, George, of Higginsville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Tom Corbin and his wife, Phyllis, of Waverly and Jack Corbin and his wife, Eleanor, of Raytown; five grandchildren, Mark Corbin and his wife, Tiffany; Mindy Grant and her husband, Scott; Danny Lasoski; Sandy Brown and Greg King; and Tony Corbin and his wife, Shelly; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her parents, two brothers, Maurice and John, and a sister, Alice Dysart, preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 28, at the Dover Christian Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 11 a.m., at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Corder.
