Mary N. Dillen, 95, of Excelsior Springs, passed away Sunday, Feb. 17, 2008, at the Excelsior Springs Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Mary was born Jan. 18, 1913, in Hominy, Okla., the daughter of Minnie Ethel and Norris Letell Church.
Survivors include: one daughter, Betty Todd of the home; six grandchildren, Rick Todd, of Orrick, Cindy Todd, of Sarasota, Fla., John Stockwell, of Canton, Miss., Jean Bailey and her husband, Paul, of Liberty, Chris Gorman of Manitou Springs Colo., and Dan Stockwell and his wife, Deb, of Zanesville, Ohio; one great grandchild; half sister, Mildred Vermillion and her husband, John, of Kansas City, Mo.; and one daughter-in-law, Lea Stockwell, of Canton, Miss.
Her husband, James Garth Dillen, son Freddie Ray Stockwell, one brother, Lester Church, one step-sister, Refa Kilgore and one step-brother, Cecil Hutchings, preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Good Shepard Hospice, 7611 State Line, Suite 200, Kansas City, Mo. 64111.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 20, at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday Feb. 21, at the First United Methodist Church in Excelsior Springs.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
