Thelma Rose Lutz, 88, of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008 at her home.
Mrs. Lutz was born Dec. 2, 1919 in Lexington, the daughter of Leon P. and Maria Locatelli Gasperino. She married Wallace Lutz on Aug. 7, 1940 in Lexington. Thelma was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Lexington, the Altar Society, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and a volunteer at Lafayette Regional Hospital. She was retired from General Motors in Kansas City.
Survivors include: one daughter, Donna Dye, of Lexington; five grandchildren and their spouses, April Maxwell and her husband, Eric, of Lexington, Rick Dye and his wife, Nancy, of Independence, Roberta Dye, of Warrensburg, Aaron Dye and his wife, Katie, of Lexington and Marty Dye, of Lexington and 11great-grandchildren.
Her parents, her husband, one son-in-law, Roland Dye, five brothers and one sister, preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to the Crossroads Hospice.
Rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, followed by the visitation until 11 a.m. Funeral services will commence at 11.a.m., Monday, February 18, at the church. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington.
