Lola Mae Smith, 65, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2008 at Barnes Jewish St. Peters, St. Peters, Mo.
Lola was born June 28, 1942 in Mexico, the daughter of Christopher S. and Ola E. Taylor. She married Charles Smith on Dec. 24, 1959 in Kansas City, Mo.
Survivors include: four daughters and sons-in-law, Ronda Damon and her husband, Charlie, of Breckenridge Hills, Melody Keen and her husband, Johnny, of Kempner, Texas, Tammy Borrero and her husband, Wilfredo, of Rochester, N.Y. and Serina Marquis and her husband, Ken, of St. Peters; one son and daughter-in-law, Charles Smith and his wife, Dial, of High Ridge; 29 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and one sister and brother-in-law, Dottie Stevens and her husband, Clarence, of Richmond.
In addition to her parents, four sisters, Neva Smith, Ruth Frehe, Doris Stanley and Phylis Stafford, preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7, at Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in St. Charles. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4 p.m. in the funeral chapel. Interment is in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis.
Arrangements are under the direction of Baue Funeral and Memorial Center in St. Charles.
