Billy Jack Keefhaver, 84, of Holt, passed away Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008 at his home.
Mr. Keehaver was born Dec. 15, 1923 in Ferrelview, the son of Charles M. and Anna (Odessa) Keefhaver. Bill served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII and retired from the Missouri State Highway Patrol as a Commercial Vehicle Inspector. He was a Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus Member. He was also an active farmer until his death.
Survivors include: his wife of 62 years, Lorraine; one son and daughter-in-law, David Keefhaver and his wife, Donna, of Holt; two daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa Ousby and her husband, Jesse, of Holt; Virginia Hill and her husband, Michael, of Independence; six grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
His parents, four sisters, and two brothers, preceded him in death.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to St. Ann Catholic Church in Excelsior Springs.
Rosary will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6, at St. Ann Catholic Church. A funeral mass will immediately follow at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Resurrection North Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
James W. Colley
James W. Colley, 85, of Kansas City, passed away at 11:10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4, 2008 at his home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bible Research Ministries in care of Gowing Funeral Home in Orrick.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in Liberty. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 6, at Gowing Chapel in Orrick. Burial will be in South Point Cemetery in Orrick.
