Deborah Gay Renfrow, 47 of Excelsior Springs, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2002 at Liberty Hospital.
Deborah was born Aug. 22, 1960 in North Kansas City, the daughter of Boyd James and Betty (Birmingham) Cockrum. She married Kenneth E. Renfrow, Jr., in Sept. of 1992 in Smithville; he survives of the home.
Debbie attended Winnetonka High School. Following her marriage, she worked for TWA and then was a homemaker for several years. She was self-employed in construction clean-up and for the past seven years owned and operated the Greenville General Store in Kearney.
Other survivors include: one son, Damien Nyugen of Carrollton; two daughters Callie Nyugen of San Francisco, Calif., and Jilliann Renfrow of Excelsior Springs; two step-children, Kenna Hankins of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Kenneth Renfrow III of St. Joseph; her step-mother, Kathy Cockrum of Excelsior Springs and one grandson, Damien James Nathanyl Nguyen.
Her father and her grandparents, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, Feb. 5, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. A memorial service will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
