Robert Samuel Krepon, 69, of Richmond, died at 8:04 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 16, 2008, at the Ray County Memorial Hospital in Richmond.
Mr. Krepon was born Oct. 15, 1938 in Quincy, Mass., the son of Louis and Elizabeth (Bennett) Krepon.
Mr. Krepon had been the Director of golf cart operations at Shirkey Golf Course from 2001 to 2005. He was a US Air Force veteran. He lived in Boston, Mass. and Wichita, Kan. prior moving to Richmond in 2001.
Survivors include: one son, Jon M. Krepon of Wichita, Kan.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kathleen G. Broderick and her husband, David, of Richmond, and Karen G. Richardson of Wichita, Kan.; two sisters, Elizabeth Kelly of Norfolk, Mass., and Jeanne Kramer of Randolph, Mass.; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
His parents and two sisters, Eileen Sims and Joanetta Armstrong, preceded him in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
Memorial services were held Friday, Jan. 18, at 11 a.m. at the Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Inurnment will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, at 1 p.m. where military graveside services will be conducted.
