Tina Darlene Nevels, 52, of Odessa, formerly of Lexington, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008 at her home.
Tina was born Oct. 30, 1955 in Prescott, Ariz., the daughter of Robert A. Martin and Betty Derrossett Martin. She married Danny Nevels on May 28. 1985 in Eureka Springs, Ark. She worked for Aquila for 28 years in customer service.
Survivors include: her husband Danny, of the home; her mother, Betty Martin, of Bolivar; one son and daughter-in-law, Shel Nevels and his wife, Lori, of Joplin; two daughters and one son-in-law, Velvet Martin, of Orrick, and Karmen Vanderpool and her husband, Toby, of Indianola, Iowa; one brother and sister-in-law, Robert Martin and his wife, JoAnn, of Kansas City, Kan.; her step-mother, Marlene Martin, of Sun City, Ariz.; one step-brother, Randy Bost and his wife, Sharon, of Peoria, Ariz.; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Her father, Robert A. Martin, preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008 from 4 to 5 p.m. at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Memorial services will be held immediately after the visitation at 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington.
