Rose Marie Bleyenberg, 80, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008.
Rose was born May 13, 1927. She attended Guardian Angel Grade School and Liles High School. She was a long time member of St. Therese North Catholic Church and served in various volunteer ministries. She was a member of the ladies Auxiliary of Destroyer Escort Association of WWII. Rose was retired from General Motors.
Survivors include: four daughters and sons-in-law, Connie Davis and her husband, Jim, of Excelsior Springs, Vickie Hamilton and her husband, Paul, of Kansas City, Mo., Tracy Roberts and her husband, Todd, of Overland Park, Kan., and Cheri McCullough and her husband, Jim, of Excelsior Springs; one son, John Bleyenbeg of Parkville; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and her loving companion of six years, Leland Rinehart of Trimble.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
In addition to her parents, her husband of 49 years, Frank A. Bleyenberg, preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at St. Therese North Catholic Church in Parkville. The Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, Jan. 12, at 10 a.m. at the church. Interment will be in White Chapel Cemetery in Gladstone.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
