Junior Hall, 72, of Richmond, died Sunday, Jan. 6, 2008, at his home.
Junior was born Dec. 7, 1935 in Ray County, the son of Lewy Virgil Hall, Sr. and Elizabeth (Herod) Hall. He married Barbara A. Whelchel of Ray County, on July 30, 1955. She survives of the home. Junior co-owned and operated Hall Brothers Construction from 1972-2006. He was a lifelong Ray County resident.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, survivors include: two sons and one daughter-in-law, Allen D. Hall, Sr. and his wife, Shari, of Richmond and Ricky Hall and his friend, Diana, of Richmond; one daughter, Janet G. Hall of Richmond; one brother, Robert A. Hall of Richmond; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Frances Marque and her husband, Rome, of Yakima, Wash. and Mary King and her husband, Dean, of Kingston, Okla.; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, one brother, Thomas Hall, and one sister, Martha Allred, preceded him in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Ray County Hospice or Ray County Oncology Department.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008 from 7 to 8 p.m. at Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond. Funeral services will be Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Richmond Memory Gardens in Richmond.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
