Martha Christine Hall, 99, of Excelsior Springs, formerly of Lathrop, passed away Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at Excelsior Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Hall was born Sept. 9, 1908, the daughter of Steve and Myrtle (Warren) Morse. She was married to Hugh Hall who preceded her in death. Mrs. Hall was a retired seamstress, and was a member of the Second Baptist Church of Liberty.
Survivors include: several cousins, including Bud and Pat Lamb of Excelsior Springs and Mirlene Sharp of Kearney, and a very good friend, Ellen Craven.
In addition to her husband, her parents and one sister, Mary Kirby, preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to The Missouri School for the Deaf, 505 E. Fifth Street, Fulton, Mo. 65251; Good Shepherd Hospice, 7611 State Line Road #200, Kansas City, Mo. 64114; or to the donor’s choice.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7, 2008 at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2008 at 10 a.m. at the Lathrop Cemetery in Lathrop.
