Frances A. Burns, 93, of Higginsville, passed away Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg.
Frances was born March 26, 1914, the daughter of Robert E. Pence and Nellie Mae (Folley) Pence. She was married to William Allen Burns who preceded her in death on July 3, 1977. Frances lived in Richmond for over 40 years before moving to Higginsville in 1997.
Survivors include: three grandchildren and their spouses, Judy Struchtemeyer and her husband, Keith, Randy Fauss and his wife, Jamie, all of Higginsville, and Ron Fauss and his wife, Shelly, of Corder; one sister, Mary Louise Lynn, of Missouri; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, William, and her parents, her son, Delbert “Skipper” Fauss, seven brothers and one sister, preceded her in death.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2008 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Hoefer Funeral Home in Higginsville. Funeral Services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. at the Hoefer Chapel in the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Betty Thaller.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hoefer Funeral Home in Higginsville.
