Cecile Endsley, 89, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, in San Bernardino, Calif., where she had been a resident for 46 years.
Mrs. Endsley was born Nov. 2, 1918, the daughter of Cecil and Bertha Henry Petree. She was adopted at 10 months by her grandparents, William and Sarah (Jackson) Petree, after the untimely death of her father. She grew up in Richmond and graduated from Richmond High School in 1936.
Her husband, Donal E. Endsley Sr, one son, Sterling Endsley, one grandson Mark Endsley, her brother, Ralph Shores, and three sisters, Ada Woods, Maxine Chaney, and Virginia Morrissey, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-inlaw, Donal Endsey, Jr. and his wife, Della, of Yucaipa, Calif., Richard Endsley and his wife, Terri, of Highland, Calif.; daughter-in-law Linda Endsley of Sebastapol, Calif.; six grandchildren, Sterling, Tia, Matthew, Joshua, Kelli, and Kent; and two great-grandchildren Amanda and Tre’.
Graveside services were held Friday, Dec. 28, 2007 at 1 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery in San Bernardino, Calif.
Arrangements were under the direction of Arrowhead Aftercare, Highland, Calif.
