Sarah A. Day, 75, of Henrietta, died Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007 at her home.
Mrs. Day was born April 10, 1932 in Henrietta, the daughter of Thomas and Pearl (Cooper) Black. She married John A. Day on June 18, 1950; he survives, of the home.
Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Nan Taylor and her husband, Bill, of Weston; four grandchildren, Nathan Lorenzen, Kate Lorenzen, Jennifer Mackenzie Taylor and Whitney Taylor.
Mrs. Day was a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. A lifelong Henrietta resident, she graduated from Henrietta High School in 1950. She was a member of the Henrietta First Baptist Church. She was a beautician.
In addition to her parents, two daughters, Jennifer Day and Georgia Lorenzen, and son-in-law, Dennis Lorenzen, preceded her in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Henrietta First Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Saturday, Dec. 22, 2007, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Henrietta First Baptist Church. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 2 p.m. at the Henrietta First Baptist Church in Henrietta. Burial will be at the Sunny Slope Cemetery in Richmond.
Arrangements are under the direction of Thurman Funeral Home in Richmond.
