Cecil Edward Barker, 60, passed away suddenly Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, in Lee’s Summit.
Cecil Edward Barker was born Jan. 8, 1947 in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Cecil L. and Frances Camerer Barker. He married Aleen Marie Lefholz on Aug. 2, 1968 in Lexington.
Survivors include: his wife, Aleen of the home; one son and daughter-in-law, Guy Barker and his wife, Laura, of Independence; 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Cindy Eskina and her husband, Craig, of Lee’s Summit, Malynda Eshleman and her husband, Kevin, of Kansas City, and Elyse Barr and her husband, Jason, of Lawrence, Kan.; his mother, Frances Barker, of Napoleon; his father and mother-in-law, Ed and Vera Luehrman, of Lexington; and eight grandchildren.
His father, Cecil. L. Barker, preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army.
Visitation was held Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Funeral services were immediately after the visitation at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker Nadler Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington.
