Oliver Frederick Kohlstaedt, 86, of Wellington, passed away Friday, Dec. 7, 2007 at the Lexington Care Center in Lexington.
Oliver was born March 18, 1921 in Chamois, the son of August and Laura H. Stocksick Kohlstaedt. He married Betty Jane Edwards on Nov. 11, 1944. She preceded him in death Dec. 20, 1969. He married Shirley McBroom on May 31, 1970. She also preceded him in death.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary Kohlstaedt and his wife, Pauletta, of Lee’s Summit, and Allen Kohlstaedt and his wife, Cheryl, of Kansas City, Mo.; one step-daughter and spouse, Brenda Nieweg and her husband, Floyd, of Oak Grove; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; and five step-great-grandchildren
In addition to both of his wives, his parents and a half-brother, Marvin Sundermeyer, preceded him in death.
Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Buckner’s Building Fund.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Funeral services will be held immediately after at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Luke Cemetery in Wellington.
