Eileen B. Shroyer, age 71, of Lexington, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 after an extended illness at Shirkey Nursing and Rehab Center in Richmond.
Eileen was born Nov. 25, 1936 in New York City, N.Y. beloved daughter of Luther and Evelyn Ramphmeier Kuhlman. She married John Shroyer May 11, 1957 in Long Island, N.Y. After marrying, they moved to Lexington.
Survivors include: her husband, John of the home; her mother, Evelyn Kuhlman of Providence, R.I.; two sons, Daniel Shroyer of Kansas City, Mo., and Eric Shroyer, of Lexington; one daughter, Sally Shroyer, of Lexington; two brothers, Luther Kuhlman, of Franklin, N.C. and Ronald Kuhlman, of Long Island, N.Y.; one sister, Mary Moos, of Providence, R.I.; six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Her father, a daughter, Nancy Lea, and one sister, Deborah, preceded her in death.
Memorials may be made to the Margaret Gray Senior Center, Meals on Wheels Program.
Visitation will be held 2 to 5 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 9, 2007 at Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington, with Rosary at 5:30 p.m. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 10, 2007 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Higginsville. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Lexington.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington.
