Woodrow Wilson Sharp, 80, of Mosby, passed away Monday, Dec. 3, 2007 at Liberty Hospital.
Woodrow was born on April 10, 1927 in Rolla, the son of George and Viola (Price) Sharp. He married Aleatha Wood and she preceded him in death in 1980. He served in the US Army as an MP. Before his retirement he worked as a meter reader at a Gas Service Co.
Survivors include: one son, Floyd Sharp, of Excelsior Springs; one daughter Caryla Mullin, of Mosby; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Robert Sharp and Edward Sharp; and five sisters, Jesse Sharp, Viola Mae Sharp, Jenny Maxwell, Barb Jarvis and Bonnie Brownsberger.
In addition to his parents and wife, three brothers, Floyd, Bill and Mitchell Sharp, and two sisters, JoAnn Sharp and Mary Ann Shelton, preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6, 2007 at Polly Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. following the visitation at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at the Dyer Cemetery in Rolla.
