Norma G. Kistner, 85, Excelsior Springs, passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2007, at the Excelsior Springs Medical Center.
Norma was born Oct. 26, 1922 in Osborn, Kan., the daughter of Forrest E. and Aura K. (Adams) Bice. After marrying Elvis Kistner on March 16, 1944 in Granada, Mich., she worked as the front desk clerk at the Elms Hotel in Excelsior Springs for 26 years. Norma was also a member of the Woods Memorial Christian Church.
Survivors include: three sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Kistner and his wife, Barbara, of Raymore, Steve Kistner and his wife, Patty, of Excelsior Springs and Randy Kistner and his wife Julia, of Lathrop; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Her husband, and sister Joan Johnson, preceded her in death.
In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations be made to The EyeCare Foundation, 115 E. 61st Street, Suite 5B, New York, NY 10021.
Visitation will be held between 6 and 8 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 at the Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007 at Crown Hill Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.
Arrangements are under the direction of Polley Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs.
