Thelma Lorane Emke, 92, of Lexington, passed away Monday, Nov.12, 2007 at Riverside Care Center in Riverside.
Thelma was born July 16, 1915 in Princeton, the daughter of Ray and Gussie Morin Lowe. She married Wilfred Emke on Oct. 23, 1952 in Harrison Ark.
Her husband, a brother, Clarence Lowe, one grandchild and 1 great-grandchild, preceded her in death.
Survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law: Robert Ballinger and his wife, Barbara, of Trenton, and Gary Ballinger and his wife, Jackie, of Excelsior Springs; two daughters and one son-in-law, LouNetta Payne and her husband, Richard, of Odessa, and
Marsha Vantellman and her friend, Jim Bloom, of Lexington; one sister, Maxine Ellis, of Kansas City, Mo.; nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s charity of choice.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2007 at the Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lexington Memory Gardens.
Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Nadler-Fuller Funeral Home in Lexington.
