Mildred K. (Bluhm) Wild, 81, of Richmond, passed away at 4:15 p.m., Monday, Oct. 29, 2007, at North Kansas City Hospital in North Kansas City, Mo.
Mrs. Wild was born March 16, 1926 in Smithton, the daughter of John F. Bluhm, Sr. and Lena M. Meierdierks Bluhm. She married Robert B. Wild of Richmond, on June 25, 1972.
Mrs. Wild taught for 50 years in the Liberty, Higginsville, St. Louis, John Bourrough, Hardin and Richmond School Districts. She received her Masters Degree in Physical Education from C.M.S.U. She was a member of the Richmond United Methodist Church and it’s Christian Social Concerns Circle. She was also a member of the Chapter CR Hardin P.E.O.
Survivors include: her husband, Robert, of the home.
Her parents, three brothers, Bernarr V. Bluhm, John F. Bluhm, Jr. and Charles W. Bluhm; and one sister, Marie S. Luebbert, preceded her in death.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Richmond United Methodist Church or the Children’s Mercy Hospital.
There will be a P.E.O. service held at 9:45 a.m., prior to the visitation. Visitation will be Thursday, Nov. 1, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Richmond. Funeral services will be held immediately after the visitation at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at Richmond Memory Gardens, in Richmond.
